Haiti Relief
ARC provides relief for people in Haiti who survived the January 12 earthquake. Terrain Acra is a settlement of 10,000 people in Port-au-Prince. We coordinate all the relief services people receive. There, our doctors have set up a medical clinic where they see 100+ patients each day. We've also created safe spaces for children to play and learn, and we've hired local teachers to run them.
Near the Dominican border, we setup another settlement - Camp Hope. There, families with seriously injured members can live until they have recovered. We make sure everyone at Camp Hope has what they need to recover. Click on the photos to learn more.
