The Maker's Collection

Share a story of hope this holiday season with your friends, family and loved ones.

select group of Minnesota’s most sought after artisans sat down with the American Refugee Committee to seek inspiration for the design of a custom collection of hand-crafted gifts. Adding fresh meaning to locally made goods, The Maker’s Collection is an exclusive collection of gift-ready products that work to create real change worldwide.
Purchases made invest in local MN-made businesses, and in new global humanitarian solutions for those who need them most.  How? We support local businesses by purchasing custom-designed goods in limited quantities at wholesale prices. We then sell these goods at their full retail value and invest 100% of the profit from purchases in our programs worldwide.

At the height of the famine, ARC offered life-saving assistance to families, giving food, shelter, clean water and medical care. While those programs continue today for families in need, ARC is beginning projects to help rebuild communities. ARC has partnered with Silatech (microenterprise service provider), Dahaabshil and Kaah Express (the largest and second largest international payment firms, respectively) to provide employment opportunities for young entrepreneurs.
