Feel the West African rhythms, sway to the reggae roots, and share the power of music!

You’ve never seen a band like Sierra Leone’s Refugee All Stars before. Formed in a refugee camp during a brutal civil war, the band is a living testimony to the triumph of hope over despair. As refugees, they turned to music as a way to rise above trauma and escape the boredom of camp life. As a band, they became a powerful and unexpected source of joy for the people living there.

Their “can’t help but dance” live show is a spirited fusion of traditional West African music, roots reggae and rhythmic traditional folk — all infused with unforgettable stories of the power of perseverance in the face of tragedy.

This very special evening helps support the American Refugee Committee, whose programs in Sierra Leone help thousands of war survivors take back control of their lives.

Come join the movement.
